The AF Tester – What It Is and How It Works
The AF tester is a tool used for the determination of transformation temperature of nickel titanium (NiTi) shape memory by free recovery. It is built as described in the ASTM specification F2082/F2082M
This device will aid in determining the martensite-to-austenite transformation temperature of fully annealed or heat nickel titanium alloys by measuring the deformation recovered during the thermal transformation.

Hot plate stirrer
it is used to warm and circulate the cool bath while the sampling of the displacement and temperature are recorded.
LVDT
(linear variable displacement transformer)
